The Holy Cream
25 mai 2022
A dynamic promoter announces the opening of a creamery in the Isle Maligne church that he is in the process of acquiring. A first business to be established there that brings great joy to the citizens of the parish!
Saint-Crème Dairy Bar
The opening is scheduled for June 11, just in time for Citizens' Day. Information will be communicated via the Facebook page “Saint-Crème Bar laitier” and Instagram “saint.creme.barlaitier”.
“We are going to push the experiential concept that this place full of history can offer us. The character of the brand image is proof of this!”
Vincent Lavoie - Promoter
For example, a host will decorate the cones and the names on the menu will make nods to the sacraments. In addition to classic frozen desserts, the dairy bar will be one of the only ones, if not the only one, to have a Mochi counter.
“I want to give letters of nobility to our creamery that will offer superior quality products and regional flavor options. The theatrical character of the church and the large spaces will offer people a space to chat at length. We are far from the simple service counter. This will certainly charm the regional and tourist clientele.”

The project
This first initiative is part of a major project, which is currently under study. Announcements are to come in this regard in the coming weeks. Partnerships may be made with regional companies.
About the promoter
The project leader is a young 23-year-old private developer who is already immersed in entrepreneurship. Vincent Lavoie is not at his first business creation and is also an advisor for the La SUITE entrepreneuriale Desjardins incubator. He says he wants to carry out a large-scale project with a strong economic impact for the region.
“The church is a flagship building in our city, with a distinct architecture, and a strong connection to the community. This will make it an unusual gathering place par excellence! I want to exploit the potential of the tourist hub as well as the cultural heritage that this district offers. The project will be situated between preserving the past and looking to the future.”
